RE:           NYMEX to Provide Uranium Futures Strip Trading Functionality

At the beginning of trade date October 15 (i.e. at 6:00 PM on Sunday, October 14), CME Globex® strip trading functionality will be provided for the NYMEX UxC Uranium U3O8 Swap Futures Contract.  Strip trading functionality will enable market participants to execute quarterly, six-month, and annual transactions as one trade.  Balance of trades for the preceding periods will also be available.  The NYMEX UxC Uranium U3O8 Swap Futures Contract is listed for trading on the CME Globex® trading system and the NYMEX ClearPort® Clearing system during regular CME Globex® and NYMEX ClearPort® hours.  At present, 60 consecutive months are listed on these systems.
